Affiliate disclosure

Leathercraft Guide is free to read. We pay for it through affiliate commissions: when a guide links to a product, such as tools, leather, thread or a sewing machine, and you sign up or buy through that link, the company may pay us a commission. It costs you nothing extra.

How we choose what to link

• We only link a product where the guide is genuinely about it or uses it. We don't add links just because a brand is mentioned.
• Facts, figures and prices are checked against reliable sources, and we list them on each page.
• Commissions don't decide what we recommend. If a free option does the job, we say so.
• We don't call anything the "best" or "cheapest" unless we can back it up, and we date the prices we quote.

How to spot affiliate links

Every guide has a disclosure near the top. Affiliate links on this site go through addresses starting with /go/, and are marked as sponsored for search engines.
